2009 United Way of the Ozarks' Day of Caring
United Way of the Ozarks' Day of Caring, which took place on August 20th, was a huge success. Nearly 1400 community volunteers from over 60 local businesses and organizations turned out to lend support to United Way's member agencies. These volunteers completed more than 145 services projects which included everything from an outdoor fun day for children at Big Brothers Big Sisters to cleaning and organization classrooms at Development Center of the Ozarks.
